Top Ten of 2020

With the start of a new year, comes a new Proliner Rescue Top 10. This list is ranked by number of views throughout the year, adjusted for the amount of time the build has been on our website. Without further ado, here is our Top 10 builds of 2020!

10. Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department Suburban

Delivered in June, this beautiful red suburban drew plenty of views initially and through the year. It can be seen here, in the shade of the tree that was knocked down by Hurricane Isaias.

9. Mount Sinai Health Expedition

With an uncommon color scheme, Mount Sinai Health’s Ford Expedition EMS supervisor truck takes ninth place in our top ten. Not only is this the only expedition to make it onto our list this year, this is the first Expedition to have ever made it into the top ten. Good work, Mount Sinai!

8. North Patchogue Fire Department Tahoe

This truck was originally Our “Hot Wheels” demo truck for the 2020 LI Fire, Rescue, and EMS Mega Show. Nowadays, it serves the North patchogue Fire Department as a chief truck. We hope North Patchogue has been taking good care of it!

7. Setauket Fire Department Mini Rescue

The first mini rescue on our list, this truck built for Setauket Fire Department is the number seven most viewed vehicle this year. These trucks are built to be able to respond to emergencies extremely quickly, while also carrying all sorts of first aid and rescue equipment.

6. Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department Pumper

The only true fire truck on our list, Manhasset Lakeville’s KME pumper, delivered in August, takes sixth place! It is seen here demonstrating its impressive capabilities as a pumper, firing hundreds of gallons of water in mere seconds!

5. Brookhaven Fire Department Silverado

Number five on our list, is Brookhaven Fire Department’s chief Silverado. This is one of the few trucks this year we took video of with smoke bombs, gaining it quite a few views. This truck was very popular on our Instagram as well!

4. North Sea Fire Department Silverado

Delivered in January of 2020, North Sea Fire Department’s chief truck has gotten a steady stream of views throughout the year, placing this truck in fourth place. This was one of the very first trucks delivered in 2020!

3. Selden Fire Department Mini Rescue Remount

The only remount on our list, and number three at that! This was the first delivery of 2020, and got plenty of views throughout the year. The body of this truck has been on several chassis before, proving itself a valuable piece of Selden FD’s fleet.

2. Bethpage Fire Department Mini Rescue

Delivered two weeks after Selden’s Swab, this truck is very similar, but features not only a brand new chassis, but a brand new body as well. We hope that this truck proves just as valuable to Bethpage as its cousin did to Selden!

1. Copiague Fire Department M923

The number one build of 2020, Copiague Fire Department’s highwater rescue truck! Built on the chassis of a military surplus cargo truck, this specialty vehicle is built to be able to rescue people trapped by saltwater flooding that would otherwise destroy more expensive rescue vehicles, or require a boat.
