Top Ten Posts of 2018

With 2018 coming to an end, we would like to share some of your favorite builds! Here are the top ten most viewed posts of the last year. You can click on any photo to view it in full size!


#10: South Country Ambulance

One of two Wheeled Coach ambulances delivered to South Country Ambulance this year, as well as one of two ambulances on our list. This rig is one of the biggest and most capable we’ve delivered this year.

#9: Islip Terrace Fire Department

One of many fire chief trucks on our list, islip Terrace’s 2018 Tahoe got lots of attention this year. This truck carries our first ventilated command box!

#8 Yaphank Fire Department

The eighth most viewed post in 2018, Yaphank Fire Department’s new F150 chief truck! One of the first Ford vehicles to feature our american flag logo on the emblem. Check out more photos here.

#7: West Babylon Fire Department

The second Ambulance on our list, this Demers MXP150 is the number seven most viewed post this year. Purchased off of the Nassau County contract, many ambulance companies have acquired vehicles just like this over the last year.

#6 Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department

A fire chief truck, delivered in August to Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department is our sixth most viewed post this year. A classic design, this vehicle is loaded with emergency lighting, and custom equipment.

#5 Patchogue Fire Department

A chief Silverado with one of the first command boxes of its type, this truck built for Patchogue Fire Department is our fifth most viewed post this year!

#4: Undercover Tahoe

An undercover vehicle, delivered in early July, this Tahoe is our fourth most viewed post this year! This truck is outfitted with low profile lighting and equipment, making it appear to be a civilian vehicle when not in use.

#3 Terryville Fire Department

A brand new rescue truck, delivered to Terryville in July, is our third most viewed post of the year. Equipped with loads of emergency lighting, radio equipment, and storage space, this is a very impressive vehicle!

#2: Setauket Fire Department Remount

The remount of Setauket Fire Department’s mini-rescue truck was our second most viewed post of 2018. This is actually the third time this body has been mounted on a new chassis, the first being in 2008, and the second being in 2013.

#1: Nassau County Fire Marshal

Posted in September, this truck is our most viewed vehicle of 2018! This truck was finally completed and delivered just before the end of the year. View the completed truck here. Congrats Nassau County Fire Marshals!
