12 Volt Installer

Proliner needs a reliable 12 Volt Wiring Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Installation of emergency vehicle lighting, electrical wiring, controls, sirens, cameras, radios and other technologies.
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicle interior/exterior
- Other tasks as needed

Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3+ years' of 12 volt Wiring technician experience required
- Willingness to participate in in-house training
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment required
- Basic knowledge of cars/trucks required
- Enjoys working on some of the coolest trucks in NY
- Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools
- Must have own tools required
- Must be able to discern cable colors, color codes
- Able to lift 50 lbs, push, pull, band, squat throughout shift
- Enjoys being a team member of the best in our industry
- Strong focus on quality, safety and neat, clean work

*Applicant with stereo installation etc. is preferred*

Job Type: Full time position, Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm.

Cabinet Maker

Proliner needs a skilled cabinet maker to fabricate custom made wood command boxes, consoles and storage solutions. Also construct misc. wood and poly parts for emergency vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
-Cut, shape, heat-weld, and assemble poly or wood components to exact specifications and industry standards
-Collaborate with install team to design mounting solutions
-Install fabricated units into emergency vehicles, ensuring proper fitment, alignment, and securement
-Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or customer specifications to build tailored solutions
The Person We Want to Hire:
-Ideal candidate has experience making cabinets
-Is proactive and creative
-Must have motivation and pride in your work to maintain high quality standards
-Must have strong proficiency with necessary tools and machinery. Ex: hand and power tools, including routers, saws, plastic welders. *CNC knowledge is a plus*
-Be able to work from detailed shop drawings
-Experience working with HDPE, polycarbonate, or similar plastics
