12 Volt Installer
Proliner needs a reliable 12 Volt Wiring Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Installation of emergency vehicle lighting, electrical wiring, controls, sirens, cameras, radios and other technologies.
- Dismantling and reassembling vehicle interior/exterior
- Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 3+ years' of 12 volt Wiring technician experience required
- Willingness to participate in in-house training
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment required
- Basic knowledge of cars/trucks required
- Enjoys working on some of the coolest trucks in NY
- Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools
- Must have own tools required
- Must be able to discern cable colors, color codes
- Able to lift 50 lbs, push, pull, band, squat throughout shift

- Strong focus on quality, safety and neat, clean work

Auto Parts Specialist
Proliner needs an experienced, highly motivated, customer oriented emergency vehicle parts specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities
Identify, source, and order parts and equipment for fire apparatus, ambulances, rescue trucks, and command vehicles
Work with technicians and project managers to determine correct parts for builds, repairs, and retrofits
Manage parts inventory, including receiving, stocking, labeling, and issuing parts
Maintain accurate records in our shop software, Mitchell
Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers (lighting, sirens, electrical, chassis, body components, etc.)
Track backorders, follow up on shipments, and resolve discrepancies
Assist with warranty parts returns and core returns when applicable
Keep the parts department organized, clean, and efficient
Exceptional communication skills for engaging with customers professionally both in person and over the phone.
Provide technical parts support to internal staff
Assist with pricing, quotes, and job costing as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive, heavy-duty, fleet, or emergency vehicle parts preferred
Knowledge of emergency vehicle components (lighting, sirens, electrical systems, upfitting equipment) is a plus
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to read parts diagrams, manuals, and work orders
Comfortable working with inventory management or dealership software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop/warehouse setting
Basic electrical, mechanical and automotive knowledge
